Welcome to Mainline South, a gallery compiled by Richard Stiles. The main aim of this gallery is to record the railway scene across Europe. Most of the scenes that interest me are disappearing, with modernisation sweeping away the old (but interesting) infrastructure. My focus is primarily hauled workings, either freight or passenger. A trip to Brno flying with RyanAir from Stansted. Enjoyable jaunt with Mr Bearton, Mr Bates and also met up with Mr Denton. Particularly good to see the elderly Class 141 electrics between Olomouc and Nezamyslice plus 749s working between Olomouc and Unicov.Read More
