Welcome to Mainline South, a gallery compiled by Richard Stiles. The main aim of this gallery is to record the railway scene across Europe. Most of the scenes that interest me are disappearing, with modernisation sweeping away the old (but interesting) infrastructure. My focus is primarily hauled workings, either freight or passenger. Gallery containing images of miscellaneous HGVs seen on my travels in Europe. Some rare birds include IFAs and Liaz. Tatras are relatively common in Czech Republic and Slovakia, but not at all common outside these countries.
